From AFL / Fitel to Inno, we've got ya covered.
Even if you have other brands of fiber optic equipment, we offer calibration and cleaning services for those as well.
Some Japanese brands like AFL/Fuji and Sumitomo have proprietary restrictions, so we will be up front with you about any limitations there are.
However, we can provide calibration, cleaning, and regular maintenance on all makes and models of arc-fusion fiber splicers.

Fujikura is a Japanese manufacturer that was the first to make an arc-fusion fiber splicer for the US Market.
We see many of these units through our lab for routine maintenance, however be forewarned that AFL annoyingly restricts access to parts and firmware requiring them being sent to Asia for major repair service.
AFL / Fuji makes a quality product, but they're very expensive and equally restrictive on major service options.
Sumitomo also joined the market from Japan with their own reliable versions of fusion splicers that focus on speed, lowest estimated loss, and environmental customization envelopes.
Many models feature innovative features like double ovens, paired smart cleavers, and mini-ribbon splicers.
Sumitomo is a highly respected brand making some of the most expensive models on the market.
The popularity of competitor splicers brought in the first wave of "clone" type machines from South Korea.
These models commonly try to reverse engineer features found in more expensive models and then undercut their competitors with price. Ilsintech / UCL Swift likes to integrate cleavers and thermal strippers into the actual splicer itself as an all-in-one.
Often the quality suffers and they have brittle parts that are prone to breaking with the realities of daily life in the field.
Through quests to lower manufacturing costs, several Chinese units with varying quality have appeared on the market over the last 20 years.
Again, these models commonly try to reverse engineer features found in more expensive models and then undercut their competitors with price.
Often the quality suffers and they have brittle parts that are prone to breaking with the realities of daily life in the field.
After a nearly 15 year absence in the market from European manufacturers after Ericsson and Corning both left, SB Scandinavia's engineering team discovered an opportunity and put hard work into inventing and refining the EasySplicer series of splicers.
Each model is thoughtfully engineered with the end user in mind providing reliable results, sold at a fair price, and built with Swedish craftsmanship that is made to last.
FiberSplicer by Tyrosys is an EasySplicer Authorized Service Provider.

The person shipping in the equipment and the owner of the equipment authorizes Tyrosys to diagnose and service the above listed equipment.
Carry-in service labor performed at a base hourly rate of $87.00 dollars per hour. At a minimum, a Diagnostic Evaluation Fee will be due for troubleshooting your equipment, and pre-payment is required for all suspected liquid spill units or other special circumstances.
Any equipment left and/or unpaid beyond 30 calendar days from drop-off and/or receiving date will be considered abandoned and will be liquidated or destroyed.
All services are performed by Tyrosys in our laboratory.
It is the owners responsibility to backup important data prior to repair service release. Your original failed hard drive will not be returned to you if replaced and returned under warranty because it must be returned to the manufacturer.
If the Hard disk drive or solid state drive is replaced outside of warranty, the original hard disk drive will be returned to the owner.
Tyrosys will contact you within the business day (or next business day if after hours) to confirm your repair request.
During that confirmation call we will create you a repair ticket within our internal system, and ask if you need a transit box. Please pack your test equipment carefully and securely. Transit cases and double-walled cardboard boxes work best, but importantly please package your test equipment carefully so that it won't get further damaged in transit.
Depending on the situation, Tyrosys will then collect pre-payment for required diagnostics and shipping securely using QuickBooks Online Payments.
Our goal is to make the mail-in repair process smooth, safe, and easy to understand.
We can ship using FedEx, UPS, or US Postal Service, however UPS is usually the easiest and most reliable. Using our pre-negotiated shipping rates, we can pass those savings onto you, or we can bill shipping against your preferred FedEx or UPS account.
Completed repair orders that are paid before 4pm Central Standard Time, we will make our best effort to ship that same business day.
